    Both Moulton cross-country teams had good days at the state meet on Saturday in Round Rock. The boys placed top five and the girls were among the top 15 teams.
    Boys
    The Katz scored 205 points and placed fifth in team standings, and averaged 19 minutes, 4.5 seconds.
    Edgar Mendiola took No. 14 with 17:44.2, mile one at 5:08.4, mile two at 11:01.6 and a pace of 5:43 a mile.
    Trenton Meisetschleager was No. 53 in 18:52.6, mile one at 5:48.2, mile two at 12:01.7 and 6:05   pace.
    Brayan Colchado was No. 57 in 19:00.4, mile one at 5:42.5, mile two at 12:01.7 and a pace of 6:07; Ricky Santana placed No. 83 in 19:28.3, mile one at 6:09.7, mile two at 12:44.6 and 6:16 pace; Andrew Guyn was No. 109 in 20:16.8, mile one at 6:12.5, mile two at 12L47.9 and pace of 6:32, followed by Seth Lopez in 20:21.5 with a mile-one split of 6:03.6, mile two at 12:50.6 and pace of 6:33. Travis Haikenwaelder was No. 123 in 20:50.9, mile one at 6:12.8, mile two at 13:10.2 and pace of 6:43.
    Girls
    The Kittens placed No. 13 with 307 points and average time of 14:53.5.
    Estefania Colchado led the Kittens with No. 57 in 13:59.3 with a 6:45.2 mile split and pace of 7:00 a mile.
    Karsyn Blahuta was No. 84 with 14:33.70, mile split of 7:06.1 and pace of 7:17; Kaylee Trejo was No. 104 in 15:02, mile of 7:13.9 and pace of 7:31.
