Moulton cross country: ‘Katz runners take third at Yoakum meet

The Moulton cross-country teams competed in their first meet of the season Saturday in Yoakum. The boys came in third place and the girls were in seventh place.
Girls
The Kittens scored a total of 176 points.
Estefania Colchado led the team with seventh place in 10 minutes, 7 seconds.
Kaylee Trejo was No. 43 with 11:27.9 and Karsyn Blahuta followed in 11:30.
Samantha Michael was No. 50 in 11:42.1. Marisol Mercedes was clocked at 11:58 and behind her was Trista Michna in 12:03.2; Araceli Vasquez was No. 68 with 12:30, Addison Simper finished at 12:54 for No. 73 and Angelis Juarez was No. 75 in 13:51.
Boys
Moulton recorded 122 points for and Edgar Mendiola led the Bobkatz with a sixth-place finish in  13:12.05. Trenton Mesisetschleager placed No. 19 in 14:12.59 followed by Brayan Colchado in 14:14.68; Seth Lopez crossed the finish line at 15:55.18 for No. 49 and behind him was Travis Haikenwaelder in 16:05.51. Andrew Guyn was No. 57 in 16:30.27; Landon Chaloupka finished in 17:04.39 for No. 60; Hunter Anderle was No. 68 in 18:08.67.
