Moulton girls basketball: Girls earn close win against Pettus 34-31

Audrey Swinford sank 11 points and Araceli Vasquez finished off nine points as the Moulton Kittens hung for a 34-31 win at Pettus on Friday.
Moulton took an 8-4 lead in the first quarter and each team scored six points in the second frame.
The Kittens scored nine of 16 points in the third period for for a six-point gap and then withstood a Pettus 14-11 run.
Hayleigh Cruz led the Lady Eagles with 11 points.
