Moulton girls basketball: Kittens blast Runge 72-16

Estefania Colchado swished 23 points and a triple to pace the Moulton Kittens to a 72-16 win over Runge Jan. 24. Three teammates posted double-digit points with Madalyn Brock hit two tres and scoring 12, Araceli Vasquez also had a dozen and Mary-Clarie O’Leary had 11 points in the book.
The Kittens took control in the first frame with a 23-2 run and led 47-2 at halftime with a 24-0 scoring advantage in the second period.
Moulton went on a 14-6 third-quarter run and scored 11 of 19 points in the fourth box.
