Moulton girls basketball: Kittens remain unbeaten in district with two more wins
The Moulton Kittens beat Nordheim and Waelder in district action last week.
Moulton 93, Nordheim 15
Araceli Vasquez hit three treys and scored 13 points, Ava Olivarez netted 13 points, Lilliana Gomez converted two triples and recorded 10 points, with Audrey Swinford booking 10 points as Moulton won 93-15 against Nordheim Feb. 3 at home.
Moulton led 30-0 after one quarter and was ahead 53-1 at halftime.
The Kittens outscored Nordheim 19-2 in the third box and scored 21 of 33 points in the fourth period.
Chloe Denning led the visitors with nine points, all on three-point baskets.

The Kittens shut out Waelder in three of four quarters in a 72-5 win Friday in Waelder.
Moulton scored 31 in the first quarter, 19 in the second and 11 in the third quarter.
The Kittens outscored Waelder 11-5 in the fourth frame.
Addison Simper led the Kittens with 11 points; Madison Rothbauer hit a triple and scored 10 points and Audrey Swinford bagged 10 points.
Nino had all of the Lady Wildcats points.
