Moulton girls basketball: Kittens win first two games

Abygail Tinajero scored a dozen points and hit two triples while Audrey Swinford netted 10 points in the Moulton Kitten’s 44-13 season-opener win against Snook at home on Nov. 7.
The Kittens, with 11 first-quarter points and 14 points in the second box, led 25-0 at halftime.
Moulton outscored Snook 7-2 in the third frame and narrowly outscored Snook 12-11 in the fourth period.

The Kittens got off to a good start Friday in Yorktown, outscoring the Kitty Kats 13-0 in the first frame in a 38-21 win.
Moulton went on an 11-7 run in the second for a 24-7 halftime lead and then scored 10 of 12 points in the third frame.
Yorktown closed the gap a little with a 12-4 run in the fourth box.
Tinajero hit two tres and led the Kittens with 10 points while Addison Simper netted eight points.
