Moulton girls basketball: Simper, Swinford win superlative awards

The Moulton Kittens 30-1A All-District selections were led by a pair of special-award winners.
Junior Addison Simper was named Most Valuable Player and fellow junior Audrey Swinford was chosen as Co-Offensive Player of the Year.
Being chosen for the First Team are juniors Karsyn Blahuta and Araceli Vasquez, and sophomore Taylor Self.
Rewarded with Second Team are juniors Reese Nieto and Valeria Pinedo, and sophomores Lilliana Gomez and Madison Rothbauer.
The Kittens were 30-1A district champions and area-round finalists. They had a final 2024-25 record of 29-5.
