Moulton grad competes in basketball at Concordia University
Action from Blaschke's sophomore season
Moulton grad and Concordia University women’s basketball player Erin Blaschke saw action in 15 games during her 2021-22
sophomore season.
On Nov. 5, 2021 against Southwestern, Blaschke played for eight minutes, went 0-for-1 from the floor, had one offensive and
one defensive rebound, and had one steal.
On Nov. 9, at Southwestern, Blaschke had one offensive rebound in her three minutes on the court.
In a home game against Texas Lutheran University on Nov. 12, Blaschke played for 14 minutes, went 0-for-3 shooting and 0-
for-2 on three-point baskets. She was 2-for-2 at the free-throw line, scored two points, had one assist, three offensive and one
defensive rebound and had one steal.
Blaschke played eight minutes in a road game at TLU n Nov. 27, going 0-for-1 field goals and 0-for-1 three-point shooting.
On Nov. 30, she saw seven minutes in her third game against Southwestern, going 0-for-1 on the floor and from three-point
range and got two defensive rebounds.
Blaschke played for seven minutes at home to Ozarks (Arkansas) on Dec. 2, going 2-for-3 shooting (0-for-1 three-point field
goals), went 2-for-2 from the free-throw line, finished with six points, and had one offensive rebound.
She played four minutes at Hardin-Simmons Dec. 9 and was 0-for-1 shooting, 1-for-2 free throws, one rebound, one steal and
one point.
She hit the court for four minutes Dec. 11 at McMurry; played eight minutes Dec. 18 against Texas-Dallas with 0-for-1 shooting
and 0-for-1 three-pointers, went 1-for-2 at the free-throw line, one defensive rebound, one assist, one steal and one point. She
played 16 minutes on Dec. 19 against LeTorneau, going 0-for-5 from the floor, six defensive rebounds, one offensive rebound.
Blaschke’s first action of 2022 came Jan. 6 against Howard Payne, playing six minutes and got one defensive rebound.
She saw two minutes of action against Hardin-Simmons on Dec. 29, getting a defensive rebound.
Blaschke’s next action was five minutes against East Texas Baptist on Feb. 17, getting an offensive and defensive rebound.
She had a season-high 17 minutes against Belhaven on Feb. 19 with nine defensive rebounds and played two minutes Feb.
24 at East Texas Baptist.
For the season, she played 109 minutes in 15 games, went 2-for-18 shooting, 0-for-6 three-pointers, 6-for-8 free throws, eight
offensive rebounds, 24 defensive rebounds, two assists and three steals.
