Moulton softball: Kittens softball score win over Schulenburg

he Moulton softball team got a win in district and plated in the El Campo subvarsity tournament in recent action.
Moulton 17, Schulenburg 15.
On Feb. 25, the Kittens defeated Schulenburg in district play.
Bethany Kram took the win with six innings, nine hits, four strikeouts and two walks. At the plate, Taylor Self went 3-for-5 wit two runs, two RBI; Katie Richter batted 3-for-3 for four runs, two RBI; Araceli Vasquez finished 2-for-3, three runs, one RBI.
Karsyn Blahuta was 3-for-4, three runs, one RBI; Madison Rothabuer had two RBI.
Flatonia 13, Moulton 1
On March 4, the Kittens lost to Flatonia 13-1.
Kram took the loss with five innings, seven hits, four walks and one strikeout.
At the plate, Kram was 1-for-2 with one run and Vasquez hit 1-for-2.
EL Campo JV Tournament
Moulton 8, Hallettsville JV 2
The Kittens started play in the El Campo junior varsity tournament with an 8-2 win over the Hallettsville JV.
Kram got the win with four innings pitched, one hit, one walk and two strikeouts. Addison Simper went 1-for-1, run and three stolen bases. Richter was 1-for-1, run and RBI; Vasquez, batted 1-for-2, two  RBI and one run.
Victoria East JV 10, Moulton 4
The Kittens lost to Victoria East JV 10-4.
Simper took the loss with four innings, five hits, three walks. Blahuta got two hits with two RBI and two stolen bases. Vasquez went 2-for-2, run and one RBI; Richter batted 1-for-2 with one RBI and Rothbauer was 1-for-2.
EL Campo JV 7, Moulton 6
Moulton lost a close one to El Campo JV 7-6.
Kram took the loss in the circle. Simper was 2-for-2 with one run; Rothbauer was 1-for-1 with one RBI; Kram batted 1-for-2; Richter had one hit and one RBI; Blahuta scored one run and had one RBI; Self added one RBI. Estrella Perez scored one run.
