Moulton softball: Moulton softball comeback bid comes up short against Weimar JV

Down 7-0 after two innings, the Kittens outscored the Weimar junior varsity 7-4 for the rest of the game, falling 11-7.
Moulton trimmed the lead to 7-4 in the third inning and Weimar outscored Moulton 3-2 in the fifth inning. The teams each scored one run in the seventh.
At the plate for Moulton, Karsyn Blahuta was 2-for-4 with one run and one stolen base; Madison Rothbauer hit 2-for-2, RBI and two stolen bases.
Also for the Kittens, Zurely Vasquez was 1-for-2; Katie Richter hit 1-for-3, two runs, one stolen base; Taylor Self batted 1-for-2, three runs, RBI and stolen base. Bethany Kram was 1-for-2 with an RBI and Kelsey Heidler had one run.
Kram took the loss in the circle with seven hits, 11 runs, five walks and five strikeouts.
