Sacred Heart in first XC meet

YOAKUM – Sacred Heart competed in its first cross country meet of the season Saturday morning.

The Indians were sixth with Ty Lewis having the best finish at seventh place. Ryan Janak finished 18th, Kolby Haas 50th, Trent Sevcik 59th and Ben Meinkowsky 62nd.

The Indianettes had three runners compete.

Catherine Lemonds finished 41st, Caroline Bartek 46th and Alina Hernandez 60th.

The Jr. high girls were second.

Caroline Lemonds was fifth, Avery Lewis sixth, Emi Pohl 13th, Kallie Loudon 20th, Haley Hartensteiner 21st, Ada Meinkowsky 23rd, Clare Lemonds 39th, Hillary Etzler 40th, Penny Bartek 48th, Emily Bludau 49th, Molly Rainosek 50th, Cora Zidek 53rd, Camille Lemonds 54th, Julia Meinkowsky 55th, Alexis Fisher 57th.

The Jr. high boys finished seventh overall.

Luke Meinkowsky was 14th, Jack Lucas 36th, Jackson Pustejovsky 39th, Blake Bludau 62nd, Sawyer Pustejovsky 63rd.
