SH chalks up two wins in Moulton

MOULTON – Hudson Kutac canned a careerhigh 33 points to lead the Sacred Heart Indians to their lone victory in the Katz and Kittens Tournament a 64-36 verdict over the Bastrop Tribe.

Kutac made 16 points in the initial quarter as the Indians advanced to 5-4 on the season. He hit two threes in the contest.

N-S 43, Indians 30

Nixon-Smiley defeated the Indians Thursday.

N-S led 11-7 at the first break and 20-16 at the half. However, the Indians could muster just 3 points in the third period.

Hudson Kutac, who was named to the alltournament team, was the only Indian in double figures with 14 points.

Austin Royals 64, SH 36

The Indians could not overcome a three-point barrage by the Royals in the Thursday loss.

The Royals hit 8 of 10 three-point attempts in the first half.

Hudson Kutac scored 15 points in defeat for the Tribe.

Moulton jumped out to a 19-3 lead at the end of the first quarter and were never headed in the game Friday night.
