    Three  Comanches received special awards  to headline the 2023 2A state runner up Shiner’s 29-2A All-District awards.
    Seniors Ryan Peterson (pitcher/infielder) and Drew Wenske (infielder/pitcher) were chosen as Co-MVPs and freshman Landyn Pohler (outfielder) was named Newcomer of the Year.
    Winning First-Team awards is senior catcher Bryce Nerada, sophomore infielder Keenan Hailey, sophomore infielder Carson Schuette and junior outfielder Kaidan Boothe.
    Getting selected for the Second Team is junior infieder Cale Shows and sophomore outfielder Caleb Lehnert.
