Shiner boys basketball: Comanches down Hornets, return to playoffs

The Shiner Comanches punched their ticket to the playoffs for the first time in seven years in a 70-36 win over Louise Feb. 7 on the road.
Carson Schuette led Shiner with 26 points and six triples; Ryan Peterson had a tres and 11 points while Jacob Werner added 11 points.
Shiner led 14-6 after the first quarter and had a big quarter in the second with a 23-11 run.
The Comanches scored 14 of 25 points in the third stanza and closed out the game strong with a 19-8 fourth-period run.
