Shiner boys basketball: Comanches edge Weimar 52-51

Carson Schuette drained four tres and scored 18 points to lead Shiner to a 52-51 win against Weimar Feb. 14 to cap the regular season.
Ryan Peterson dropped down 14 points and three triples; Drew Wenske netted 11 points. and was 6-of-8 from the free-throw line. Jacob Werner was Shiner’s top rebounder as he got eight.
Shiner played Thorndale in the bi-district round this Tuesday at Bastop Cedar Creek to mark the Comanches’ return to the postseason for the first time since 2016.
