Shiner cross country: LC earn fifth at Industrial meet

    The Shiner cross-country teams ran in Industrial on Saturday. The girls earned a top-five finish.

    Varsity Girls
    The Lady Comanches recorded 164 points to earn fifth place in the team standings.
    Hayleigh Burns was Shiner’s top finisher with No. 11 in 14 minutes, 47 seconds. Emma Joslin was No. 29 in 15:42; Callie Chrismon was No. 32 with a time of 15:50. Erin Pustka finished in 15:56 for No. 34. Eva Roberts got No. 58 with 17:49; Megan Burns was No. 63 with 19:52 and Jo Caka was No. 65 in 20:15.

    Varsity Boys
    Boe Boehm was No. 34 in 19:51; Elijah Mesa was clocked out 19:57 for No. 36; Landon Christensen was No. 45 in 20:43 and Caleb Cowan was No. 62 in 22:35.
