Shiner cross country: Shiner cross country sends one to state

    The Shiner cross-country program will have one runner at the state meet, senior Lady Comanche Hayleigh Burns.
    Varsity Girls
    Shiner came in No. 10 in the 2A Girls 3,200-meter run with 270 points.
    Burns was the top finisher with eighth place in 13 minutes, 11.62 seconds and a pace of 6:36 a mile. Emma Joslin was No. 53 in 14:47.88 (7:24).
    Erin Pustka was No. 56 in 14:48.54 (7:24).
     Jo Caka was No. 100 with a time of 15:48.63 (7:54); Callie Chrismon was No. 113 in 16:08.51, followed by Megan Burns in 16:11.35 (8:04).
    Eve Roberts was No. 139 in 17:11 (8:36).

    Boe Boehm was No. 93 in 22:39.55 (7:19).
