    Several Shiner football players made the Padilla Poll Coaches All-State Team.
    Senior Dalton Brooks was named Offensive Player of the Year;  Senior Ryan Peterson was chosen for First Team Special Teams and Second Team Offense. Fellow seniors Jacob Werner and Drew Wenske all received First Team Offense.
    Seniors Jake Davidson and Beck Bishop along with Brooks and Peterson were named to First Team Defense. Wenske was selected for Second Team Defense.
    Shiner went 11-3 in the 2022 season, finishing as regional finalists.
    Texas High School Coaches Association AA Super Elite Team.
    Brooks was named Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) Class AA  Super Elite Team Offensive MVP and Wenske was named to the AA Defense.
