Shiner football: Shiner has minor struggles against Ganado Indians

The Shiner football team wrapped up preseason scrimmages at Ganado last Thursday.
The scrimmage showed the Comanches things to work on prior to tomorrow’s opener against Hallettsville.
“We made some mistakes against Ganado,” Comanches head coach Daniel Boedeker said. “We did not come off the football fast enough and we let Ganado run right through us.”
Shiner did not play as physical as it could have against their former district opponents.
“We must play more physical,” Boedeker said. “We did not tackle too well on defense.”
“This was a good scrimmage to see which things we need to correct.”
