Shiner girls basketball: Lady Comanches beat Marion

The Lady Comanches split their last two games before the Thanksgiving break, losing at La Grange and beating Marion.

Shiner stuffed the hoops against 3A Marion on Nov. 22 in 48-19 rout.

JaMya Wright scored 14 points to lead the junior varsity Lady Comanches to a 28-26 win over Marion Nov. 22 at home.
Marion took a 6-3 lead in the first quarter and Shiner grabbed control with a 12-7 run in the second.
The Lady Comanches outscored Marion 7-5 in the second box  and endured an 8-6 scoring run by the Lady Bulldogs in the final eight minutes.
For Shiner, Peyton Wegener had three rebounds, one assist, one steal; Brinley Ramirez added five steals, five assists, two rebounds; Addy Siegel finished with seven rebounds, three steals, two assists; Bianca Rainosek had one rebound; Wright also had three rebounds, three steals.
