Shiner girls basketball: LC hoops team have three win All-District special awards

    Three Lady Comanches received  28-2A All-District Special Awards.
    Junior Morgan Lenehan was named Offensive Most Valuable Player; junior Callie Sevcik was chosen as Defensive MVP and senior Aimee Mitchon was selected as 6th Man of the Year.
    Making the First Team are senior Rylee Vancura and sophomore Addy Siegel.
    Getting selected for the Second Team was junior Kailey Boedeker. Seniors Brooke Palmer and Amelia Pohler both made Honorable Mention are Boedeker, Lenehan, Mitchon, Palmer, Pohler, Brinley Ramirez, Sevcik, Siegel, Vancura and JaMya Wright all made Academic All-District.
    Shiner finished 32-3 and were regional semifinalists for the first time since 2020.
