Shiner girls basketball: Shiner 7th grade girls hoops wins two tournaments

    Shiner 7th grade girls won all three games in their division in the Schulenburg tournament on Jan. 11, defeating St. Rose, Schulenburg and Industrial to earn first-place medals.  The following weekend in Yoakum, 7th graders bested Edna and Gonzales before facing Poth in the championship game. In a spectacular come-from behind victory, Shiner clinched another first place trophy. The Lady Braves are  coached by Courtney Johnson and Patrick Walker
