Shiner girls basketball: Shiner routs Maidens 51-33

The Lady Comanches had a powerful third quarter, outscoring the Maidens 20-10 on the way to a 51-33 win Dec. 20. Morgan Lenehan led Shiner with 13 points; Callie Sevcik and Rylee Vancura each scored a dozen points.
Shiner led 8-3 after one quarter and equal scoring (12-12) kept them in the lead at 20-15 at halftime.
The Lady Comanches went into the fourth quarter 40-25 and outscored Ganado 11-8 to wrap up the game.
