Shiner girls powerlifting: LC powerlifters compete at first meet

The Shiner Lady Comanches powerlifting team competed in the first meet in program history at the Swamp Strength 1.0 Thursday at Rice Consolidated.
Shiner took sixth place in the team standings.
Kylynn Ramirez got third in the 123-pound class with a total of 525, 215 squat, 120 bench press and 190 deadlift.
Sadie Carter placed third in the 148 class with a 575 total, 245 squat, 130 bench press and 200 deadlift.
Kacy Kramer got fifth in the 114 class with 190 squat, 80 bench press, 185 deadlift and a total of 525.
Autumn Jackson was sixth in the 114 class with  185 squat, 85 bench press, 170 deadlift and total of 440 total.
