Shiner softball: Lady Comanches play four, win four at Rice Tournament

The Shiner Comanches went a perfect 4-0 in the Rice Consolidated Tournament last Thursday through Friday.

The Lady Comanches cranked out 12 hits and plated 18 runs in an 18-0 win in three innings against Rice Consolidated Thursday in the Rice Tournament.
Shiner scored nine runs in the top of the first, brought in eight more in the second and scored once in the third box.
Dyllan Chrismon picked up the win at Pitcher with a one-hit shutout with two walks and four strikeouts.
Paeden Vincik got three hits with an RBI and a double; Teresa Olivas went 2-for-3, two runs, three RBO, home run and triple.

Vincik pitched a no-hit shutout with one walk and nine strikeouts as the Lady Comanches got their second shutout of the day in a 9-0 win over Navasota.
The Lady Comanches led 5-0 after one inning, outscored the Lady Rattlers 1-0 in the second inning and 3-0 in the third.
At the plate, Teresa Olivas was 2-for-3 with a double ,two runs and Riley Rainosek hit 2-for-3, one run.

Shiner scored three runs in bottom of the first inning to help secure a 5-2 win over BF Terry on Friday.
Terry got within 3-2 after the top of the second before Shiner scored one run in the bottom of the second and one in the bottom of the third.
Vincik picked up another win with two runs on two hits, two wild pitches, one batter hit, five walks and eight strikeouts and was the Lady Comanches’ top hitter by going 2-for-3 with two RBI and a double.

Brinley Ramirez went 3-for-3 with two runs and Kloe Polasek hit 1-for-3, home run and three RBI as Shiner ended the tournament with an 8-2 win over Hempstead.
Hempstead opened with two runs and Shiner scored four runs in the bottom of the frame. The Lady Comanches scored one run in the second box and three runs in the fourth frame. Sadie Carter started inside the circle going 1 1/3 innings, one hit, two runs and three walks; Teresa Olivas picked up the win with 2 2/3 innings pitched, two hits and five strikeouts.
