Shiner softball: LCs run rule Navarro 20-0 in three innings

Kalli Kupka got two hits, hit one home run, scored three runs and had four total RBI as Shiner opened the regular season with a 20-0 win over Navarro in three innings Feb. 17 at home.
Kloe Polasek was 3-for-3, three runs and two RBI.
Kara Kupka batted 3-for-3, double, two RBI and three runs; Gracyn Chrismon got three hits, three RBI and scored twice; Cami Cowan got a home run, had two RBI and scored three runs while Reagan Fluitt was 1-for-2, double, two runs and two RBI. Shiner scored nine runs in the first inning and 11 more in the second frame.
Lauren Springfield picked up her first win by throwing a one-hit shutout with five strikeouts.In the field, Chrismon made three putouts.
