Shiner softball: Shiner softball beat Ganado, fall to 6A Pearland
The Lady Comanches softball won at Ganado and played a non-district game against the varsity team of 6A Pearland.

Paeden Vincik cracked out another home run as she went 2-for-3 and had three RBI while Addy Siegel was 2-for-4, two runs, double and two RBI, and Hailey Radicke was 2-for-3 with a double, run and RBI.
Callie Sevcik got two hits and had three RBI to lead the Lady Comanches to a 10-1 win at Ganado March 19.
After a scoreless first frame, Shiner scored two runs in the second inning and three in the third.
The Lady Comanches outscored Ganado 2-1 in the fifth and 3-0 in the sixth.
Lauren Springfield took the win with one run on five hits, one walk and three strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings while Siegel tossed for 1 1/3 innings with one strikeout.
Brinley Ramirez had four putouts and one assist in the field.

The Lady Oilers scored eight runs in the third frame to key a 13-2 win over Shiner Friday in Pearland for just the Lady Comanches’ second loss of the season. Pearland led 2-0 after one inning and went up 13-0 after five innings. Shiner scored a pair of runs in the seventh to end the shutout.
Shiner had just four hits with four players getting one hit; Siegel got a double and one RBI; Brinley Ramirez and Jo Caka scored one run each.
Springfield started at pitcher went 2 2/3 innings, nine runs on eight hits; Dyllan Chrismon worked 2 1/3 innings with six hits, four runs, walk and strikeout. Siegel closed out with one inning, hit and strikeout.
Ramirez had four putouts and one assist in the field while Shiner had an unusually number of errors with eight.
