Shiner St. Paul junior sets high jump record, wins gold at state

    “We are so proud of her,” Principal Neely Yackel said. She won state with 5-foot-2-inches, then broke the state record at 5-foot-4-inches. Finally, she attempted 5-foot-6-inches, which will be her mark to beat next year.
