Shiner tennis: Shiner girls tennis wins district

The Shiner girls tennis team claimed the district title and the boys finished runner up following the district tournament on March 23.
For the varsity, Jennifer Arellano (girls singles), and Tyler Hemphil and Kylynn Ramirez (mixed doubles) won the district championships to advance to regionals.
Marco Lara (boys singles), and Lexi Boner and Kallee Kifer (girls doubles) placed runner up to advance to regionals as well.
Reese Carson and Aidan Stowe placed third in boys doubles; Colby Nichols and Matthew Mitchon placed fourth.
Savannah Durrett and Emersyn Boehm placed fourth in girls doubles; Collin Wallace was fourth in boys singles.
JV results
In boys singles, Jacob Rainosek was third.
In girls doubles, Tinsley Vasek and Stella Clifford came in third; Blair Epley and Brynlee Langhoff were fourth.
In boys doubles, Brodie Joslin and Jacob Migl earned third place; Anthony Hernandez and Emory Mesa got fourth place.
Wyatt Wiederhold and Whitley Lyons were second in mixed doubles while Diego Reyes and Chloe Matula took fourth.
