    The 2025 state semifinalists Shiner Lady Comanches had three players win special awards for All District 28-2A.
    Sophomore Paisly Wallace was named Setter of the Year, senior Kylynn Ramirez was selected as Defensive Specialist of the Year and sophomore Kayden Smith was named Newcomer of the Year.
    Making the First Team were junior Lexi Boner, sophomore Harlee Sevcik and freshman Taylor Kocian.
    Getting Second Team honors were senior Sadie Carter and freshman Savannah Durrett.
    Receiving Honorable Mentions were sophomores Kiera Curtis and Addie Prove.
    Boner, Curtis, Carter, Durrett, sophomore Riley Fluitt, Kocian, senior MaKenna Pish, Prove, Ramirez, Sevcik, Smith and Wallace all made Academic All-District.
    TSWA All-State
    Two players were named to the Blue Bell/Texas Sports Writers Association Class 2A All-State Team.
    Sevcik was named Honorable Mention Middle Blocker and Ramirez was chosen as Honorable Mention Libero/Defensive Specialist.
