Shiner volleyball:Shiner JVP beats GHS, loses to YHS in opener

The Shiner Junior Varsity Purple played a dual match in Yoakum against Gonzales and Yoakum on Aug. 8.
Shiner beat Gonzales 21-25, 25-16, 16-14 and fell to Yoakum 25-23, 25-19.
Total stats for both matches: Makenna Pish had two aces, one kill; Kallee Kifer had two aces, one kill; Jaleigh Ramirez had five kills, one ace; Kacy Kramer had one ace; Lily Prove finished with three assists, two kills, one ace; Arabella Carlisle added five kills; Kaydence Frank had four kills; Jillian Dierlam had seven assists and one kill.
