Silas Robinson wins Southland Football Conference award

    Yoakum High School 2018 graduate and University of Incarnate Word football graduate student Silas Robinson was one of 12 Cardinal players that received Southland Football All Conference awards.

    He was named to the First Team All-Conference Offense Offensive Line.

    Robinson stepped up as a leader for the Cardinal offensive line that ran for 1,410 total yards and allowed only 14 sacks, all of which contributing to the second-best team in the nation for total offense (4,802 yards) and the 12th best scoring offense in the nation.

    Robinson was named to the Phil Stelle Preseason All-Southland Team.

    He is the son of Farrah and Yoakum ISD Athletic Director/Head Football Coach Bo Robinson.
