St. Paul boys basketball: Allen Academy 65, St. Paul 27
The St. Paul Cardinals got to experience playing a three-point shooting team Monday at Bryan Allen Academy in their final game before breaking for Christmas.
The Rams hit 12 triples, nearly half of their field goals, and were led by Mason Williams who sank seven treys for 21 points in a 65-27 win over the Cardinals. Eli Dawson also bagged 21 points.
Jack Ehrig hit two triples and scored eight points to lead the Cardinals with Andrew Nunez recording eight points.
The Rams outscored St. Paul 17-6 in the first two frames for a 34-12 halftime lead.
Allen Academy went on a 16-11 run in the third frame and outscored St. Paul 16-4 in the fourth period.
