St. Paul football: BC blanks Cards 48-0

St. Paul got over 150 offensive yards but were unable to get in the end zone in a 48-0 loss at Bryan Brazos Christian on Friday.
The Eagles scored 28 first-quarter points on runs of 3 and 9-yards, and passes of 28 and 27 yards.
Brazos managed two touchdown runs in the second frame, of 25 and 7 yards for a 41-0 halftime lead.
The Eagles scored one touchdown in the third quarter on a 2-yard run.
St. Paul struggled to run the ball with just 31 yards on 22 carries, led by 12 yards on two carries by Jack Ehrig.
Quarterback Tyler Pendley was 9-of-23 passing for 127 yards and two interceptions. Jace Matias had three catches for 20 yards.
