St. Paul golf: Lady Cards golf win district; boys qualify for state

The St. Paul girls golf team won the district championship and the boys team placed fourth to qualify for state April 2 at the The Golf Club of Texas A&M.
On the girls team, Faith Brown was fifth medalist with a 100.
Riley Mozisek carded a 102 for seventh medalist and Audrey Thibodeaux had 106 for ninth medalist. Mary Sue Filip registered a 118 and Skylar Mozisek had a 121. The Lady Cardinals had a team score of 426.
Individual medalists for St. Paul were Camie Robles who carded a 116 for No. 14 and state qualifer; Reese Seibert got fifth with 118 and also is a state quailifer.
Kylie Kelso had a 130 and Erica Hunke carded a 135.
The boys scored a 371.
Jackson Seibert had a 87 for No. 12; Nathan Timmons had a 90; Vance Lucas finished with 91; Joseph Davis had 103 and Tate Anders scored a 108.
Individually, Rylan Jalufka had a 105; Carter Chilek posted a 129 and Michael DeSarro had 137.
The 2A TAPPS state meet will be next Monday and Tuesday at the Cottonwood Creek Golf Course in Waco.
