St. Paul softball: Lady Cardinals raid Rice Consol. 16-1 in three innings

The Lady Cardinals scored 10 runs in the bottom of the second inning to deal visiting Rice Consolidated a 16-1 loss in three innings at home on Friday.
St. Paul had a dozen hits while the Lady Raiders had five errors.
Rice Consolidated  opened the game with a single run and the Lady Cards scored four in the bottom of the first. St. Paul outscored the Lady Raiders 2-0 in the third frame.
At the plate, Eden Rodriguez was 3-for-3, two doubles, three runs, three RBI; Presley Tuch was 3-for-3, home run, two total runs, three RBI; Annie Werner went 2-for-3, two runs, one triple, one double; Hayden Rother got two hits and scored twice with one RBI while Emery Kennedy hit a home run and had four RBI.
Presley Rother pitched for St. Paul with one run on four hits and five strikeouts.
Reese Patek made three putouts.
