Tigers 4, Indians 2

Tidehaven scored two runs in the top of the fifth inning to break a 2-all tie and went on to defeat the Sacred Heart Indians, 4-2, here Tuesday, Feb. 25.

Tidehaven scored its runs on one hit, two walks and an error.

The Indians out-hit the Tigers 5-3 and had runners in scoring position when the game ended.

The Indians stranded nine baserunners and the Tigers eight.

Tidehaven scored in the top of the first on an infield out by Jechan Duran that scored Ashton Klaiber who singled.

Trent Sevcik walked to begin the bottom of the first and scored on a single to left by Ty Noska.

The Indians took a 2-1 lead in the third. Dillon Goedrich led off the round with a single and moved to second on Trent Sevcik’s sacrifice bunt. He scored on another bunt by Emerson Harvey.

Charlie Shanks was the loser in relief.
