YHS Lady Bulldogs soccer plays four at tournament

The Yoakum High School (YHS) Lady Bulldogs won one, tied one, and lost two games last week at the Giddings Tournament.

The Lady Bulldogs played its first game against Bellville, battling to a 1-1 tie with Mileydi Gonzales scoring the goal for the Lady Bulldogs.

The Lady Bulldogs faced Giddings, falling 5-1 with Brianna Lopez netting the Lady Bulldog goal.

Gonzales scored a second goal for the tournament as the Lady Bulldogs earned a 1-0 win against Manor New Tech.

The Lady Bulldogs played their final tournament game against Bastrop Cedar Creek, losing 5-1 with Rubi Martinez recording the goal.
