Yoakum boys powerlifting: Bulldogs compete in TSS meet in San Antonio

The Yoakum boys powerlfiting team opened the season at the Texas Strength Systems UTSA Invitational last Thursday in San Antonio.
Jack Meyer was third in the 198-pound class with a total of 880, 320 squat, 205 bench press and 355 deadlift.
Kamren Meyer was seventh in the 165 class with a total of 710, 235 squat, 180 bench press and 295 deadlift. Colby Jendrzey placed ninth in the 165 class with a total of 690, 225 squat, 150 bench press and 315 deadlift.
Jerry Llanas was eighth in the 242 class with 225 squat, 165 bench press, 265 deadlift and a 655 total.
River Bergman was eighth in the 275 class with a total of 1070, 450 squat, 185 bench press and 435 deadlift.
