Yoakum girls basketball: Lady 'Dogs defeat Industrial

Jayana Phillips scored 15 points to help get Yoakum a 2-0 record in district with a 43-25 win over Industrial at home on Dec. 13. Madison Gonzales and Destiny Rios each added seven points.
Yoakum held just a 6-5 advantage after the first quarter before outscoring the Lady Cobras 11-5 for a 17-7 halftime lead.
