Yoakum girls basketball; Yoakum 45, Palacios 29

Yoakum won its last district home game in a 45-29 dismantling of Palacios on Friday. Jayana Phillips led the Lady Bulldogs with 14 points.
Yoakum led 11-6 after one quarter and slightly outscored Palacios 11-8 in the second box.  The Lady ‘Dogs went on a 13-6 run in the third period and held a slim 10-9 advantage in the fourth frame.
