Youth sports: Yoakum Junior Golf Association camp and tournament next week

The Yoakum Junior Golf Association will be sponsoring a junior golf camp Wednesday and Thursday (June 18-19) at the Yoakum Memorial Golf Course.
The camp will consist of two sessions, one for beginners (those getting started on the game) and one for intermediate  (those who have a grasp of the fundamentals of the game).
The beginner’s session will be from 8-9:30 a.m. and the intermediate session will be from 10:30-11:30.
The cost of the camp is $20 .You can register by calling the golf course at 361-293-5682.
Tournament
The tournament will be held at the golf course June 20. 
The entry fee is $5 and the tournament is open to golfers ages 6-18.
The tee-off time for players ages 12 and under is 8; The 13-18 year-olds will tee off at 10. To register for the tournament, call the golf course at 361-293-5682.
