Due to Lavaca County experiencing dry weather conditions, which has created a potential for hazardous wildfires, County Judge Keith Mudd issued a burn ban order Monday afternoon.

Burn ban lifted

Through an executive order issued by County Judge Keith Mudd, the burn ban for Lavaca County was removed Monday, March 31.In the order, Mudd said due to precipitation having fallen over the past 24 hours, he is lifting the burn ban.

Lavaca County lifts burning ban
