Shiner cross country:Lady Comanches, Boehm get set for regional meet

The Shiner Lady Comanches cross-country team will try to finish in the top two teams next week at regionals in Corpus Christi to punch their ticket to yet another trip to the state meet. Shiner Comanche individual runner Boe Boehm will also be gunning for a trip to Round Rock.

Shiner volleyball: LC wrap up season series with Louise with a victory

The Shiner volleyball team chemistry is quickly coming together as they close in on the postseason. The Lady Comanches swept the Lady Hornets 25-6, 25-13, 25-16 Oct. 10 at home to give Shiner the season sweep over Louise. Shiner also improved a lot in the serving game.

Shiner football: Shiner continues momentum with 45-30 win over Three Rivers

The Shiner Comanches are continuing to pick up steam. Shiner (2-5) went to 2-1 after three district games following a little bit of a shootout, outscoring Three Rivers 45-30 Friday at Comanche Stadium.

Shiner cross-country: Lady Comanches win district title; Boehm qualifies for regional

The Shiner Lady Comanches claimed the 28-2A varsity girls cross-country team title on Monday at Green-Dixon Park. Hayleigh Burns won the individual title with a time of 12 minutes, 43.76 seconds. Emma Joslin was eighth with 13:55.88 and Erin Pustka was No. 10 with a time of 13:58.04. Jo Caka was No.

Local cross-country: Lady Cards, Lady Comanches first, second at Shiner Meet No. 2
