Lady Comanches junior varsity purple team has played several matches since the beginning of the season. They have victories over Luling (25-10, 25-18) and Rice (25-12, 25-16) during the Flatonia Tournament, just missing a medal after losing a consolation match with Sacred Heart 21-25, 16-25.

The Shiner Junior High volleyball teams took on Weimar ,Ganado and Schulenburg, and played in the Schulenburg Tournament.

7th grade Shiner hosted their season opener against Weimar on Aug 25. The 7th grade B team split sets with Weimar: 15-25 and 25-23. Leading serving was Tatum Carson.
