City council to approve budget, tax rate Aug. 26

The Hallettsville City Council set Monday, August 26 as the date to adopt the 2025 budget and 2024 tax rate.The proposed tax is 45.81 cents per $100 valuation. The no-new tax rate is 25.37 cents and the voter approval rate is 47.47.
