DLSEC receives generous donation from Don G. Kaspar Foundation

    The DeWitt-Lavaca Special Education Cooperative (DLSEC) received a generous $5,000 donation from the Don G. Kaspar Foundation to help pay for fencing around the RISE playground.  The new fencing was installed by J. Mark Threadgill & Company.  It will help ensure the safety of RISE students while enjoying time on the playground. Hali Kaspar, Jill Opela, and Katie Greer, members of the Don G. Kaspar Foundation Board of Directors, were on hand to present the check to DLSEC Executive Director Jason Appelt during a Valentine’s Card-Making Party at the RISE Elementary Building at Yoakum Intermediate School.
