Elites say they are going to leave but they are still here
Time for politicians to restore “love of country”

Have you ever noticed that most of the people who say they are going to leave the country, if an election doesn’t go their way, are millionaires? Yet, most of them never leave. I find it hard to understand why anybody, who made their fortune here, would want to leave the greatest country in the world.
Another Fourth of July is upon us and many Americans will be celebrating their country’s birthday; albeit some don’t realize just how important this date really is. On July 2nd, 1776, the Continental Congress voted in favor of independence, and two days later delegates from the 13 colonies adopted the Declaration of Independence, a historic document drafted by Thomas Jefferson.
The wisdom of our forefathers is beyond belief; it was nearly as if they could look into the future and foresee the problems that the United States would face over 200 years later. Could they have known that we would go through a civil war 85 years after the Declaration of Independence was written? Over 600,000 Americans died in that war – brother against brother in a house divided. But through it all, America recovered, and put an end to the inhumane practice of slavery.
When you compare the age of our country to many around the world, the United States is still in its infancy; at only 245 years old, it pales in comparison to European and Middle Eastern countries. Egypt dates back to 3150 BC and the Kingdom of England to 927 AD.
But this young country of ours is a beacon of freedom throughout the world. Regardless of what the so-called “elites” say, there are millions more trying to get into this country than those wanting to leave. Americans are a generous and freedom-loving people. Anytime disasters hit other countries, it’s always the United States that is there with humanitarian aid. There are times when we even send aid to societies who have been known to chant “death to America.”
It seems that our great country has a history of being slow to anger. In World War II, the American people, recovering from the Great Depression, wanted to remain neutral; it took Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor to bring us into the fray. But when war was declared, young Americans rushed to enlist and fight for their country. Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, who planned the attack on Pearl Harbor, would reportedly write in his diary, “I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.” Our enemies should remember Admiral Yamamoto’s prophetic words before they do anything that might wake up the sleeping giant.
On this Fourth of July, America finds itself in a precarious situation. We have a wide-open border with millions of people coming in from countries around the world; some of these countries are known to be terrorist breeding grounds. These individuals are not here for a better life; they are here to do harm to our people – some have already done so.
One liberal media outlet reports the following: “The Department of Homeland Security has identified over 400 immigrants from Central Asia and elsewhere who crossed into the U.S. in the past three years as ‘subjects of concern’ because they were brought by an ISIS-affiliated human smuggling network, three U.S. officials tell NBC News.”
Regardless of anyone’s political affiliation, this can no longer been ignored. The southern border should be closed immediately until our so-called “leaders,” whoever they may be, see this dangerous threat for what it is and do something about it now. It’s time for power-hungry politicians to put aside hate and make love of country a priority if we are to survive as a nation.
