Hallettsville Lions Club announces gift-card winners

The Hallettsville Lions Club held its 43rd annual Arts and Crafts Show with a good crowd turning out for the event. 

Over 40-plus vendors were present offering their crafts for Christmas gift shopping and Santa Claus along with The Grinch were available for photo taking opportunities.

In addition, the club also had several activities for children to take part in as well as both members from the Hallettsville Jr. High Band and the Sacred Heart Catholic School Band perform Christmas music during the event.  Also, the traditional Cookie Walk had over 50 different varieties of cookies that were sold by the pound. 

Lions Club president and coordinator of the event, Charles Neumeyer said, “We would like to thank all who came out for the Arts and Crafts Show as well as those who purchased tickets in the gift-card give-away. 

The proceeds from the show and the raffle go toward supporting the club’s donations to charities and scholarships.”

The gift-card drawing took   place at the closing of the show with the winners, who include: 

• 1st prize – $1,000 – Tommy Joost

• 2nd prize – $500 – Deborah Ebersole

• 3rd prize – $400 – Jack Van Heuverswyn 

• 4th prize – $300 – Paul Migl

• 5th prize – $200 – Joyce Smolik

• 6th prize – $200 – Lisa Marie Sanchez

• 7th prize – $100 – Barb Koehn

• 8th prize – $100 – Billy Bludau

• 9th prize – $100 – Wendy Janak

• 10th prize – $100 – Dorothy Henke
