Rising Star Award

    Two members of the Lavaca County EMS department, Lavaca County EMS assistant chief Tim Decker and Yoakum Fire Department assistant chief/EMS director, Nicholas Kresta, were recognized at Monday’s Commissioners’ Court meeting for being awarded Rising Star Awards at the recent Mid-Coast Hurricane and Disaster Conference held in Victoria.
